Looking for a way to expand your child’s world? Want to cultivate a concern for others and a heart for the lost in your kid? There’s a new display case in the Children’s Center that will help you do just that! Located on the first floor near the library, the case will feature a different world culture and missionary every month. In it you'll find artifacts and information that will introduce your child to another culture and the missionaries from our church who are working to bring the good news of Jesus to its people.
The missionaries featured for the month of August are John and Angela Blau. Angela came to know the Lord through Colonial’s Student Ministries and now she and John are preparing to work with an unreached people group living in the mountains of the Himalayas. How cool is that?! The Blaus will be in Children’s Church at 11 am on August 9th to share about their ministry. Bring your children and come find out about life in East Asia.
The display will change monthly so stop by frequently. As you and your family learn more about Colonial’s missionaries you may find your children praying for them! Wouldn't that expand their world? |
