Whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.  – Mark 10:15

Elementary Director: Kelly Keen

At Colonial, our elementary classes are designed to prepare kids for a lifetime of personal Bible study. Our goal is to produce a familiarity with God’s Word through careful explanation of its key themes.

Sunday School classes are offered during each morning service (8:30, 9:45, and 11:10 am). Your kids will have a blast as they learn important life-truths from the Bible. We use Discipleland curriculum at 9:45 and we use Answers Bible Curriculum at 8:30 and 11:10.

In addition to classroom instruction, elementary-aged children who attend at 9:45 and 11:10 participate in an assembly time that focuses on Christ-centered, kid-friendly worship. These assembly times are designed to direct children to praise the Lord through personal and corporate worship.

During the 9:45 hour, we have a special class for 4th and 5th graders called “Colonial Corners.” This unique program focuses on Christian Character development for children nearing middle school.

Music ministry offers a children’s choir program on Sunday morning at 8:30 called Hearts, Hands, and Voices. Children in grades K-5 are welcome to participate in this fun program which involves singing, crafts, and much more. For more information, please visit the Music Ministry website here.
