Dear Moms,
I have met Sally Clarkson and her husband, Clay, and I believe this will be a wonderful weekend. Allow your husband the privilege of being alone with your children, while you go and be refreshed in the Word of God and the fellowship of your sisters in Christ. This conference is for all mothers. HERE is a brochure you can download, and below is a message from the Clarksons about this event, March 12-13. Scott Wylie
We are so looking forward to returning to North Carolina in just a few weeks. We had such a great time with the moms in Charlotte and Cary last year, and this year will be even better with a full Mom Heart Conference at the Raleigh Marriott Crabtree Valley on March 12-13. Learn more below about who’s coming, and what Sally will be sharing about being renewed as a Mom. Or, get more information or register online now on our NC Conference Information page on WholeHeart.org. And be sure to forward this announcement to your friends and encourage them to attend. And once you’re registered, be sure to call the hotel and reserve your room (919-781-7000, ask for the “Mom Heart Conference” group). The cutoff date for the guaranteed low room rate of $89.00 is Friday, February 26 (rate available after that date based on availability). If you have any questions, you can email Jennice at Whole Heart, or call at 888-488-4466. We hope you can be there. It won’t be the same without you!
Sally and Clay, and all the Whole Heart Team

February 7 is National Scout Sunday. All Scouts should wear their uniform to church on Sunday morning. Boys from Colonial's Pack 613 will be participating by helping the ushers greet worshippers and hand out Communiques and by assisting with the collection of food in "Bumper Crop." Members of Pack 613 will receive more information soon.
We are also pleased to announce the formation of Boy Scout Troop 613. Our new troop will charter in April. Boy Scouts who would like to transfer into Colonial's troop, or Webelos who are looking for a troop to bridge into should contact us. Of course, boys who are interested in getting started with scouting are also welcome. For information, contact our Scout Master, Tim Taylor at

As you plan your year, hare are some regional events for you to consider for yourself and your kids. If you need any information on any of these, you should contact the organization directly. My family has participated in most of these events in the past, and I recommend them all.
