Children’s Ministries Summit: February 27, 2010

February 7 is National Scout Sunday. All Scouts should wear their uniform to church on Sunday morning. Boys from Colonial's Pack 613 will be participating by helping the ushers greet worshippers and hand out Communiques and by assisting with the collection of food in "Bumper Crop." Members of Pack 613 will receive more information soon.

We are also pleased to announce the formation of Boy Scout Troop 613. Our new troop will charter in April. Boy Scouts who would like to transfer into Colonial's troop, or Webelos who are looking for a troop to bridge into should contact us. I have never seen one of these events, but I have heard of them, and have been impressed with what I have learned. If you have a daughter, age 8-12, and are concerned about purity and modesty, I encourage you to attend. This event is coming to Raleigh on February 20.
